Presentation Tree began as the seed of an idea. When founder Paul Tumey was working in the creative services department of a major Seattle corporation, he observed the vast need for support in creating PowerPoint presentations. In 1998, he co-founded Dreamingdog Studio, a graphic design company. While Tumey directed the creation of numerous print and online communications pieces for various clients, he created and perfected a method of fast, client-responsive presentation design using high-end graphic design tools in synergy with PowerPoint. In 2007, Presentation Tree was founded to address the growing needs of presenters worldwide to have solid and reliable support in creating clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations. Our offices are in Seattle, but our client base reaches across the United States to Europe, Asia, and is still growing!

About Paul Tumey
The founder and director of Presentation Tree has a unique skill set that allows him to deliver superior presentation design and support. His background includes notable achievements in graphic design, writing, public speaking, publicity, and marketing consulting.

A publisher author and artist, Tumey brought his natural marketing acumen and flair for communications to the aid of one of the country's greatest bookstores, Brookline Booksmith in the mid-1990's. The 30-year old store was fighting for its survival against a chain store that had located on the same street just 3 blocks away. With the help of an increasingly enthusiastic team, Tumey used guerilla marketing, witty newsletters, stellar author events, a flood of promotions (such as the All-night Pajama Party), and a river of press releases to raise the store's profile to national prominence, where it was named 'Bookseller of the Year,' by the leading trade journal, Publisher's Weekly. Today, the store thrives as a vital community center, and has even opened a second location, making it one of the very few success stories in the on-going battle between independently-owned stores and
chain operations.

Since then, Tumey developed Tumey Communications where he has consulted for many businesses to help them achieve their marketing and communications goals. He currently lives in Seattle with his son, Reid. Some of Tumey's paintings and drawings are online here.
